COACH SPOTLIGHT: JACOB THOMPSON

Meet Coach Jacob Thompson, coaching with Factory Select 12U and 13U!

A Gray, Georgia native and Jones County High School graduate, Jacob developed his love for baseball at a young age. His passion for the game led him to Brevard College, where he set school records for career innings pitched and nine-inning complete game shutouts.

Now in his 7th season coaching, Jacob brings his collegiate experience and competitive mindset to helping young athletes grow. For Jacob, coaching is about more than developing baseball skills. It’s about building relationships, instilling confidence, strengthening character, and preparing players for life’s challenges.

He believes baseball teaches valuable lessons through both victories and setbacks, helping young athletes develop determination, endurance, and faith. We’re proud to have Coach Jacob sharing his experience and passion with the next generation of Factory athletes! ⚾️
